![]() ![]() If you kill Savages make sure to loot their Sticks, because they seem to do a bit more damage than the Nailboards. It will be a while before you can craft any decent weapons until you get your Workshop upgraded a handful of times. Get some Boards and some Nails and craft yourself a Nailboard weapon (unless you are lucky enough to find a better weapon, like a shovel or an axe). I finally traded the watch for a Toolbox to upgrade my Workbench (which is really important, more on that later.) Go get your stuff back! Look for a Backpack where you died. ![]() When you die it will be marked on the MAP with any items that you lost. Hopefully you made preparations ahead of time, because there won't be much time to do so before bad things start to happen.įunny thing, I kept trading with the Trader or the Wolfman (can't remember which), got the watch and kept losing it on my corpse. ![]() If the light starts to turn yellowish and then orange it means you should book it to your hideout as soon as possible. If you don't have a watch, you pretty much have to guestimate how much time you have in the daylight. It's nice to know that if you are losing daylight, you can time your scavenging/exploring and make it to your hideout before darkness sets. For some reason this was really important to me. I figured out on my own that if you get the Watch it will keep the time in the corner ( military time). Telling time is an important thing in Darkwood. ![]()
